1. Not medical, psychiatric or clinical advice

Mary-Anne is a professional recovery coach and sober companion. She is not a licensed medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist or clinical therapist.

  • No clinical care: services do not include medical detoxification, psychiatric evaluation or clinical psychological therapy.

  • No prescriptions: we do not prescribe, manage or dispense medical treatments or medications.

  • Seek professional help: always consult a qualified healthcare provider or addiction specialist regarding medical conditions, detox protocols or mental health diagnoses.

2. No doctor–patient relationship

Engagement with this website, initial consultations or the use of our companionship services does not establish a doctor–patient, therapist–client or clinical relationship.

3. Emergency situations

Sober Skies does not provide emergency intervention or acute crisis services.

If you or someone you care about is experiencing a medical or life-threatening emergency, acute withdrawal symptoms or severe psychological distress, please immediately call emergency services on 999 in the UK, or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

4. Limitation of liability

While we strive to provide the highest standard of dependable, empathetic peer support, long-term sobriety relies fundamentally on individual commitment and a broader healthcare framework. Sober Skies cannot guarantee specific long-term recovery outcomes and explicitly disclaims liability for any personal actions, relapses or health outcomes during or following the companionship period.
